As head of ndustrial.io, Jason helps industrial companies optimize their energy use and assets. He has worked with hi-tech startups over the last 10 years as a venture capitalist, founder, angel and advisor. He helped lead over 40 investments with $200 million in funds across a variety of sectors including energy, manufacturing, and telecommunications in Silicon Valley.
Today, in addition to heading his company, he continues to advise startups including Mission Motors, the developer of electric powertrain systems and the fastest electric motorcycle. He guest lectures on hi-tech entrepreneurship at North Carolina State University and Duke, as well as regularly judges business plan competitions such as Stanford University’s Social eChallenge.
He studied physics and finance at North Carolina State and later studied Mandarin at Stanford and Peking University. His work in China ultimately led him to help launch Al Gore’s The Climate Project in Beijing.
